Ottertex® Nylon Ripstop – Water Repellent (DWR) – 70D, 2.1 oz

Ottertex® Nylon Ripstop is a heavy-duty and lightweight fabric that can be used both indoors and outdoors. Sourced from 100% nylon this material features a PFAS-free FC0 durable water repellent (DWR) treatment, in addition to being reinforced with stitching every 1/8 of an inch vertically and horizontally. This makes the textile bead and repel liquids away from the material. Additionally, Ottertex® Nylon Ripstop fabric is abrasion resistant, easy to clean, mold/mildew resistant*, and tear resistant. Measuring 58/60 inches wide, this material is 0.35 millimeters thick, has a 70 GSM, and weighs approximately 2.1 ounces per square yard or 4.1 ounces per linear yard.

Use Ottertex® Nylon Ripstop fabric for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications, including bags, backpacks, lightweight covers, outdoor gear, liners, banners, and apparel accents. Its combination of durability, water repellency, and lightweight construction makes it suitable for projects that require strength without added bulk, while maintaining flexibility and ease of handling for both sewing and crafting applications.
